Travis McCracken, better known as The HR Dude, believes HR should never be boring. With almost 20 years of Human Resources experience, he has built his reputation on transforming complex people challenges into practical, real-world solutions.
Travis holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and is certified in both SHRM-SCP and SPHR. He is a recipient of BambooHR’s 2025 Experience Maker Business Growth Award, Travis brings credibility, experience, and a people-first perspective that make him a trusted voice in HR and leadership.
As HR Manager at Global Laser Enrichment, Travis has helped guide the organization through rapid growth, scaling from 15 employees to over 100 while creating structures that support both compliance and culture. He also serves on the board of the Lower Cape Fear SHRM chapter, where he continues to invest in the growth of the HR profession.
Audiences know Travis for his energy, humor, and ability to simplify HR in ways that connect with both HR professionals and business leaders. Off stage, he is a husband, dad to two boys, worship leader at his church, and a finds joy in connecting with people through music.
